Share

Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport (TTIA) takes the 3rd place for Best Airport by size 25 to 40 million passengers in the 2013 ASQ Awards announced by Airport Council International (ACI). Top five airports in this category are Incheon, New Delhi, TTIA, Shanghai Hongqiao, and Mumbai.

Since the completion of Terminal 1 renovation in 2013, TTIA has received much positive feedback and the outcome has immediately reflected in the Airport Service Quality survey. TTIA first took the 3rd place for Best Airport by size 15 to 25 million in 2012, and still keeps the 3rd place after the increase of passengers elevates this airport into the category of airports with 25 to 40 million passengers. TTIA would like to share this achievement with all its partners.

TTIA performed well in survey issues such as staff friendliness including that of the border control employees, shopping varieties, and convenient transfer facilities. Airport transportation system, the item that lagged behind, is expected to have great improvement after the operation of Airport MRT in the end of 2015.

Established in 1991, Airports Council International is the only official organization of global airports. TTIA became a member of ACI in 1999, and a participant of ASQ survey in 2008 to gauge its service satisfaction among global passengers.

In the future TTIA will stay innovative and keep cooperating with all the airport partners to provide passengers with sincere services and satisfying experiences.
