Epidemic Prevention Announcement-1080X1920-V1
All citizens, passengers and staff entering the Taoyuan Airport terminals must have their body temperatures taken at the control gates. Those whose body temperature exceeds 37.5 degrees Celcius will be prohibited from entering the terminal or boarding their flight in accordance with Article 37 of the Communicable Disease Control Act.

Taoyuan International Airport embraces a high standard of epidemic prevention, and please follow the access control guidance adopted by TIAC since 1 April: people entering the terminals must pass through specific entryways installed with infrared thermal imagers or have their body temperature measured with forehead thermometers. Those with temperatures exceeding 37.5 degrees Celsius are not allowed to enter the terminals. Passengers using Airport MRT A1 and A3 city check-in services are also required to have body temperature measured at the entrance area. TIAC invites everyone to comply with regulations, safeguard the country, and protect our homeland.

TIAC has completed the terminal access control plan after repeated inspections, following policies of the Central Epidemic Command Center and the Ministry of Transportation and Communications. Epidemic prevention materials are also prepared to respond timely to the epidemic development. The number of terminal access gates has been reduced to 20 from 63, with posted notices on temporarily closed gates to guide people into the terminal.

TIAC reminds everyone to have body temperature taken at the gates before entering terminals. Given scarce epidemic prevention materials, infrared thermal imaging cameras are installed at routes and security check lines where passengers enter the terminal most frequently. Double checks are performed to ensure comprehensive protection. In accordance with Article 37 of the Communicable Disease Control Act, people whose body temperatures exceed the established threshold will be prohibited from entering the terminal or flight boarding. Service personnel at city check-in areas of Airport MRT A1 and A3 stations also measure passengers’ body temperature. If you need to change itinerary due to physical or medical concerns, please contact your flight ticket seller.
