Widening Construction Office-In accordance with overpass frame erection, the Freeway Construction Office plans a closure of one of the section of the eastbound of Freeway No.2. The section between the Airport System Interchange (freeway No.2 sta.9k ; freeway No.1 sta.52k) and the Southern Taoyuan Interchange ( sta.11k ), will be closed to enable the overpass frame erection night work. The following detours will be effect during the night work:
Beginning at 23 p.m. through 6 a.m., the night work will be held and the eastbound of Freeway No.2 between the Airport System Interchange (freeway No.2 sta.9k ; freeway No.1 sta.52k) and the Southern-Taoyuan-Interchange ( sta.12k ) will be closed for about 7 hours.

For traffic travelling from Freeway No.1 southbound to the Airport-System-Interchange than take Freeway No.2 eastbound across above section:

  • Exit from the Taoyuan Interchange ( sta.49k ) in advance.
  • Take Highway No.4 eastbound to Daxing W. Rd.
  • Take Daxing W. Rd. southbound to the Southern-Taoyuan-Interchange.

For traffic travelling from Freeway No.1 northbound to the Airport-System-Interchange than take Freeway No.2 eastbound across above section:

  • Exit the Pingzhen-System-Interchange (sta. 65k) in advance.
  • Take Expressway No.66 eastbound to the Daxi-Interchange (sta.52k)
  • Take the northbound entrance ramp of the Daxi-Interchange to the Freeway No.3
  • Take the Freeway No.3 northbound to the Freeway No.2

For traffic travelling on Freeway No.2 eastbound with a destination of the Freeway No.3:

  • Exit the Airport System Interchange (freeway No.2 sta.9k ; freeway No.1 sta.52k)
  • Take the Freeway No.1 southbound to Expressway No.66
  • Take the Expressway No.66 eastbound to the Freeway No.3

The travelers are recommended to be aware of and be familiar with aforementioned alternate routes. All the necessary message signs indicate the construction message and the detour have been setup throughout the detour ahead. Follow up those signs and slow down your speed would improve a safe trip.
